By now, the world has seen the first episode of this year’s HBO series Hard Knocks. Fans got the chance to witness the behind-the-scenes actions of the New York Jets training camp. What caught the eye of most viewers was the exchange between the ‘Voice of God’ Liev Schreiber and quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
While most of the NFL fandom wants to see how Rodgers is handling things in Jersey, for the veteran, meeting Schreiber was like the cherry on top. Previously, the 39-year-old was asked what his expectations were from Hard Knocks. “The only thing I like about Hard Knocks is the “Voice of God”, who narrates it,” Aaron Rodgers revealed. “I hope I get to meet him.”
His wish came true. Midway through one of the Jets’ training sessions, a helicopter landed at their training camp in New Jersey. Schreiber stepped out of it and said hello to Rodgers. The Pro Bowler then replied,” It’s great to meet you. I’ve been a fan of yours forever.” Liev Schreiber, who starred in superhit movies like The X-Men and Scream, was delighted to see Rodgers in a Jets uniform. “I’m glad you’re here, man. You’ve made a lot of New Yorkers very happy.”
However, what followed next won the hearts of every football fan. Rodgers then turned to his teammates and coaching staff, trying to convince them to say hi to Schriber. “It’s the voice of God! You guys didn’t say hi?” Rodgers asked. Then he could be heard saying to offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett, “Don’t be an a******. He’s nervous; he wants to meet people. Just be nice.”

Arron Rodgers wants to see young Sauce Gardner in the Hall of Fame
Later in that episode, the camera captured a moment between Aaron Rodgers and cornerback Sauce Gardner. The duo were seen chatting during the Hall of Fame game against the Cleveland Browns.
“You’ll be here one day,” the 39-year-old said. “I’ll be really old and gray when that happens.” Gardner replied, “That’s the plan. I’ve got aspirations of playing in the league for 40 years.”
They have already formed a unique friendship. Just a few days ago, the 22-year-old gave his new quarterback a diamond necklace. He revealed that it was a welcome gift that he had bought from a local jeweler. Rodgers has been seen wearing it while attending Jets training camps.
