In a game of such high magnitude, plus what is known to be the greatest rivalry seen in the NFL, a fan fight was inevitable. And so it was when a Philadelphia Eagles fan engaged in a huge fight with a Dallas Cowboys fan during the SNF game.

However, this isn’t anything new when it comes to the huge rivalry between these playoff contenders. The Cowboys have not only defeated the divisional rival Eagles in a blowout 33-13 game but also recovered from the embarrassing 42-10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

The Sunday night football game had many instances, and surprisingly, many of the fields. The video clip, in which the two rival fans can be seen fighting in the middle of the ongoing game, went viral on the internet. They were kicking, punching, and choking each other without realizing the rabble surrounding them amidst the chaos.

Their brawl became so serious that it resulted in a broken table and memorabilia kept beside them. Many of the people standing there were recording and shouting at them. Interestingly, the incident even reached the ears of netizens, who were equally shocked by the whole drama.

How the Cowboys-Eagles rivalry turned ugly in 2022

The mega-rivalry between two of the strongest NFL teams isn’t new; it dates back to last year. During the 2022 season, in November, the Cowboys faced off against the Eagles and outplayed them with a whopping 51-26 win. Also, an Eagles fan was furious by the blowout loss but received a competent response from a Cowboys fan.

During that game also, the rivalry resulted in a disturbing incident in the middle of the game when a Cowboys fan furiously approached an Eagles fan and engaged in physical violence. It also resulted in two of them throwing and punching each other to the extent that the Eagles fan fell to the ground.

The occurrence of such incidents at football stadiums results in raising concerns about the violent behavior of the fans. In addition to that, it also creates safety risks for other fans. The NFL sure appreciates brotherhood and support from the fans, but it sure doesn’t appreciate violence.
