Watch: “Looked like he pushed my grandfather over” Aaron Rodgers plan to block Za’Darius Smith backfired resulting in a humiliating fall for the Packers QB
Aaron Rodgers.
Aaron Rodgers didn’t have the best start to the season. The Green Bay Packers poorly lost to the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings were able to overrun the Packers with a score of 23-7. Rodgers finished the game with zero touchdowns and one interception.
The Packers lacked momentum and serious firepower in the offence. Davante Adams was missed as the WR and the reigning MVP was not at his best. Aaron Rodgers also made a joke of himself when he tried to block the bigger and younger LB Za’Darius Smith which ultimately backfired and the QB hit the ground.
Rodgers looked like an old man playing with teenagers in the game against the Vikings, he lacked speed, mobility and action. If this will be the scenario the whole season then Rodgers can kiss his back-to-back MVP awards goodbye.
Aaron Rodgers tried to shake off the shoulder push from Smith but couldn’t manage to get up in the first attempt, further adding misery to his day. The good thing about it was that Rodgers didn’t try to fight his former teammate instead he had a laugh about it and shook it off.

Aaron Rodgers became a victim of a lot of criticism and roasts after his and the Packer’s disappointing performance in the first game of the season. It was humiliating for the QB but Twitter is unforgivable.
Though it was not completely Aaron Rodgers’s fault that the Packers lost but he’s the face of the team so Rodgers will have to bear the most responsibility.
Aaron Rodgers was lacking protection the entire game which led to the block from Za’Darius Smith.
