Philadelphia Eagles showed why they are the top-seeded team in the NFC. The Eagles delivered a blowout win against the New York Giants as they crushed them 38-7 and advanced to the NFC Championship game for the second time in the last five years.
Jalen Hurts didn’t look like a quarterback who suffered a shoulder injury until last week. He kept throwing darts at his receivers all night long. He was also quick as lightning on his feet as he rushed for a touchdown towards the end of the first half and took the lead 28-0.
The Eagles’ defense ranks 2nd overall this season and rightly so. They were on point from the start of the game and completely shutout the Giants’ offense in the first half. Cornerback James Bradberry picked off Daniel Jones in New York’s second possession and Philadelphia led by 14 points at this point.

Nick Sirianni dropped the F-bomb during the first half

Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni was on top of the world during the entire game as his team played a completely one-sided game and defeated the Giants. He did get into an altercation with the sideline official during Philadelphia’s 2-point attempt at the last minute of the second quarter. It looked like the ref asked Sirianni to move away from the endzone which angered Sirianni.
“I know what the f**k I’m doing,” Sirianni was heard shouting as he walked away from the ref. After this, though, Nick Sirianni went into celebration mode, which started mid-game in the Eagles locker room. As the players were celebrating their win, defensive back C.J. Gardner-Johnson gave his head coach the “Dream Chasers” diamond necklace. Sirianni was extremely hyped up about receiving the necklace and the fans also loved this. Check for yourself for some of the reactions to the necklace celebration.
The Eagles will now await either the San Francisco 49ers or the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC title game. Let’s see if the 2022 Eagles can recreate the magic the 2017 Eagles did by defeating Tom Brady and the Patriots. But first, they have to win the NFC Championship against a tough opponent.
