“We’ve got to be more consistent” Aaron Rodgers is displeased with young WRs for continually dropping passes

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are still recovering from the loss of their No.1 WR Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders. Though their current No.1 WR Allen Lazard is decent in the training, the problem is with the younger receivers who are showing difficulty being consistent.
“It’s unfortunately some of the same guys,” Rodgers said after practice against the New Orleans Saints on Tuesday. “Repeat mistakes are a problem, so we’ve just got to clean those things up a little bit.
“The young guys, especially young receivers, we’ve got to be way more consistent. A lot of drops, a lot of bad route decisions, running the wrong route. We’ve got to get better in that area. But I felt like the line for the most part held up pretty good, which was good to see.”
The Packers recently had a preseason game with the San Francisco 49ers where they failed to perform and lost 28-21. There were simple errors that should have been taken care of but that’s the reason we have a preseason, so players can improve.

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are looking to challenge for the Super Bowl this season and for that the players will need to be consistent and on top of their game. “It’s coming up,” Rodgers said of the regular season. “Yeah, it’s coming up. It really is. We’re going to play our best guys when the season starts. And whoever those guys are, those guys are going to get the reps.
The former NFL MVP doesn’t have a problem with Allen Lazard who he firmly believes will be the No.1 WR for the Packers. But Rodgers was dissapointed with the rookie WR Romeo Doubs.
The fourth-round draft pick dropped a pass from Rodgers who he said was his best pass of the day. Though he scored a 33-yard touchdown against the 49ers there were also many dropped balls that he could have handled better.
Aaron Rodgers displayed a warning for the youngsters if they don’t pick it up soon. “You keep dropping the ball, you’re not going to be out there,” he said. “It’s going to be the most reliable guys that are out there. The preparation and the job responsibility is most important.
