What is the reason behind Ray Lewis’ son’s shocking death?

Ray Lewis, one of the greatest middle linebackers of all time, and his family have been struck with a tragedy. Lewis’s son, Ray Lewis III, died on Thursday as per TMZ Sports. Ray was 28 years old at the time of his unfortunate death.

Ray Lewis III played as a running back at Lake Mary Prep H.S., Florida. He had a great senior year as he rushed for 1,898 yards and scored 20 touchdowns and also double-backed as a wide receiver and had 676 yards and 4 touchdowns. He played for Miami Hurricanes, the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, and the Virginia Union Panthers during his collegiate career.

Diego Ryland, head coach of the Virginia Union Panthers, talked with TMZ Sports about Ray’s sudden passing. Ryland said, “Great young man and a better teammate. The entire Virginia Union University community is praying for the family as they deal with the loss of Ray.”

There have been no official statements about the cause of the death of Ray Lewis III. Even Baltimore Ravens legend and Ray’s father is also yet to make a statement. Most of the information available was from an Instagram post by Ray’s younger brother Rahsaan who poured his heart out at the passing of his brother.

“Really can’t believe I’m even typing this but RIP big brother A true angel I pray your at peace now because IK how much you was rlly hurtin. I don’t and won’t ever have the words man cuz this pain right here. I love you I love you I love you. Your niece gone miss you but she will hear about u over and over just watch over us all big bruh be our guardian I promise I’ll make you smile and proud,” Rahsaan wrote on his Instagram story.

Ray couldn’t follow in his father, Ray Lewis, footsteps and make it to the NFL but did play in the Champions Indoor Football League for the Wyoming Mustangs. Ray Lewis III was also giving his best to make it in the music industry.
