When is Skip Bayless’ Undisputed returning? Who will replace Shannon Sharpe?

Shannon Sharpe recently decided to leave the Undisputed after several years of working together with Skip Bayless. The duo was infamous for their heated discussions during game nights. 

However, the partnership has now ended. Still, the show must keep going, and Undisputed is back for yet another season. It was recently unveiled on Twitter that the iconic show will be back on August 28th, just days before the next NFL season starts.

Skip Bayless also took to Twitter to share the good news and even had a witty comment ready. “LeBron isn’t the only one in the lab this summer. Can’t wait to unveil Undisputed just in time for football season,” Skip Bayless stated on Twitter.

Although they have announced when the next season of Undisputed will be aired, Fox Sports are still shushed about the new co-host that will sit opposite Skip Bayless.

Many viewers were wondering if the show will be halted for a few months. However, FS1 is adamant about keeping the show going despite the departure of the former Denver Broncos TE. There have been many names making rounds on social media as possible replacements for Sharpe and some are pretty surprising.

Who will be the replacement for Shannon Sharpe?

Shannon Sharpe was on the Undisputed for 7 years and established himself as one of the most influential NFL analysts. His departure shook the entire sports media world.

However, the show must go on, and Fox is looking for a possible replacement. There are many names making the rounds on social media. However, some are more realistic than others. 

The most speculated analyst to join them is former Philadelphia Eagles RB LeSean McCoy. McCoy is currently hired by FS1 and is often featured on ‘SPEAK’ which also includes Emmanuel Acho, another candidate for the Undisputed position.

A recent termination spree by ESPN has also played an important part in determining Shannon Sharpe’s replacement. Keyshawn Johnson and Max Kellerman, both have been rumored with Undisputed after being fired from ESPN.

However, these are just plain rumors currently and there has been no confirmation regarding it. However, Fox Sports will soon announce the new co-host and the replacement of Shannon Sharpe.
