Will Blackmon calls the Jets a ‘desperate organization’ while asserting Aaron Rodgers will be the QB with the most pressure in AFC
Aaron Rodgers was recently traded to the Jets in return for 3 draft picks and a conditional 4th draft pick making it one of the most expensive trades of all time.

Aaron Rodgers’ recent move to the New York Jets was highly appreciated by the mainstream media. The veteran QB is traded to help the Jets challenge for the division and eventually for the Super Bowl.
However, this set of almost unreal expectations adds lots of pressure on the former Green Bay Packers QB. Rodgers will have no option but to start playing exceptionally well since the first season itself.
Former Super Bowl champion Will Blackmon was recently featured on ‘SPEAK’ where he was asked about his views on the Rodgers trade. Although, the retired return specialist loved the signing, he also added that it brings massive pressure on A-Rod.
“He’s going to a desperate organization, they’ve never been to the playoffs for 20 years. They’ve had losing seasons in the past 7 years,” Will Blackmon stated. “There is lots of pressure on Aaron Rodgers.”
Blackmon believes that Aaron Rodgers will have no time to settle into the team and will have to show results from the first day itself. To assist the legendary QB, the Jets have also bought reinforcements in Allen Lazard and Randal Cobb while signing a new offensive coordinator.

Aaron Rodgers has no room for error in New York

The Jets have gone all out this season and signed Aaron Rodgers in a massive trade while also providing him with added reinforcements. This makes sense due to the competitiveness of the AFC.
There are many quality teams in the conference including the Kansas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals, and Buffalo Bills. Additionally, the Jets are also playing in one of the toughest divisions in the NFL.
The AFC East is currently the most competitive division and Rodgers will have to make his mark as soon as possible. The 39-year-old QB is a back-to-back MVP winner, therefore, he surely has the capability.
On the other hand, if Aaron Rodgers manages to shine in New York then he can certainly go down as one of the greatest QBs of all time. His recent move to the Jets has been under constant scrutiny and the veteran QB will have a great opportunity to prove all his critics wrong and win at another team except the Green Bay Packers.
