After winning their third Super Bowl trophy in five years, the Kansas City Chiefs are on the verge of becoming a dynasty in the league. However, not everyone appears to be that thriller over the Chiefs’ rising success as there have been quite the chatters around the league as well as among the fans doubting the defending Super Bowl champions’ credibility of winning Sunday’s game.

A recent report by DraftKings Network highlighted how the Chiefs have truly been on their best behaviors when it comes to committing to the games’ infractions. They have gone last three Super Bowl games without having any holding penalties against them. With that being said, Kansas City reportedly led the league in holding penalties for the 2023-24 season.

Will Compton, however, gave quite a surprising reaction to this revelation, as he retweeted DraftKings’ post in utter disbelief and wrote:

Well, it turns out the Chiefs only logged 30 offensive holding penalties throughout the 2023 regular season as they headed toward their Super Bowl victory. Their Super Bowl opponents and Compton’s favorite San Francisco 49ers were penalized 101 times, which was quite close to the New York Jets’ 124 penalties— the most penalties by a team in 2023.

The former NFL linebackers’ reaction to the Chiefs’ astonishing records isn’t totally unexpected, as it wasn’t too long ago when Compton alleged the NFL for fixing the Super Bowl match.

Ex-Raiders linebacker Will Compton claims Super Bowl was rigged like WWE

Right after the Chiefs won their second consecutive Vince Lombardi Trophy, the former Las Vegas Raiders linebacker made a bizarre comparison between the NFL and WWE. Ahead of the big game, Compton betted on the 49ers for winning the Super Bowl LVIII, believing they would “kick the Chiefs a**.”

However, that didn’t happen and even though the Niners were in the lead by halftime at 19-15, the Chiefs took total control by late third quarter, resulting in an eventual victory of 25-22.

As Compton couldn’t accept what happened, he made a bold claim on his X (formerly Twitter) account that the Super Bowl game was scripted just like how WWE is. However, his vent wasn’t received well by the fans and he became the target of a lot of backlash.
