WR Tyler Lockett was ecstatic after the game, as the Seahawks had pulled off an incredible result against the Giants and were victorious over them. The Seahawks had suffered a major blow at the start of the season as their Super Bowl-winning QB Russell Wilson was traded to the Broncos.

Everyone had counted out the Seahawks, but they have performed well this season, even better than the Broncos whom Wilson was traded to. While Wilson is having a terrible season, the Seahawks are enjoying their glory.

Lockett gave credit to his team for not being selfish and becoming ‘credit hoggers’. The Seahawks are playing with complete harmony and no one cares who gets the credit. “It’s amazing what we can accomplish when no one cares who gets the credit.” Tyler Lockett stated in the press conference.

The NFL world was shaken after Lockett’s statement and immediately came to the conclusion that it was a dig against their former QB, Russell Wilson, who is in the worst form of his life.

Tyler Lockett didn’t take Russell Wilson’s name during his post-match speech, but fans and analysts deciphered the whole speech and came to the verdict that it was meant for Wilson.

NFL Twitter was buzzing with quality tweets and everyone was excited after this ‘mic drop’ moment. But the Seahawks WR had to intervene and clear all the rumors as he stated that people should stop looking for a story when there isn’t one.

“People need to stop reaching! I’ve said this quote like 5-10 times since I’ve been in the league. Stop looking for a story and just let us enjoy our team.” Tyler Lockett stated in a tweet.

Surprisingly, this comment from Lockett didn’t stop NFL Twitter from making their assumptions. Many people thought the Seahawks WR was doing damage control after making the initial statement.
