Fans at Arrowhead Stadium are known to be wild, but none compare to Xavier Babudar. The Kansas City Chiefs fan, infamously known as ‘ChiefsAholic’, went on a rampage across the midwest, robbing financial institutions such as banks and credit unions across multiple states. 

The 29-year-old recently pleaded guilty to the charges levied against him in a federal court in Kansas City.

Xavier Babudar has pleaded guilty to one count of money laundering, transporting stolen money across state lines, and bank robbery. He risks being sentenced to nearly 50 years in prison. His sentencing is scheduled to take place on July 10.

The US Attorney Teresa Moore said in a public release

As per federal prosecutors, Babudar admitted to a series of robberies and attempted robberies in 2022 and 2023.

The money laundering charges stem from his online gambling and spending at casinos. He is liable to pay an estimated $532,675 in restitution.

He is required to forfeit property, and one of the items is an autographed painting of Patrick Mahomes that was recovered by the FBI. 

Now that he has taken responsibility for his crimes, his attorney has issued a statement.

Today, Xavier stood humble and repentant before the eyes of the Court and the eyes of the Chiefs Kingdom. Xavier loves the Chiefs Kingdom, he loves his family, and he loves Kansas City. He only hopes that you will all rally to his support.
Matthew Merryman, in a statement said

Xavier Babudar was a regular at the games for the team. Fans at Arrowhead recognized him for his unique wolf outfit. The string of robberies is believed to have taken place in Iowa, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Tennessee, Minnesota, Nevada, and California.
