As division opponents, the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles share one of the most intense rivalries in NFL history. The Eagles’ fans won’t waste any opportunity to troll the Giants fans and vice versa. In that trend, the country music star Zach Bryan recently brutally trolled the Giants QB Daniel Jones on-stage in front of the packed New York crowd.

On Saturday, the Giants quarterback Daniel Jones attended Zach Bryan’s concert in Queens, New York. The 26-year-old QB got up on the stage to sing along with the country singer but wouldn’t have expected Bryan to roast him on the stage in front of the New York crowd. When Jones was singing along right next to Bryan, the music artist yelled “Go Birds”  on the mic.

Even though the country singer was born and raised in Oologah, Oklahoma, he calls Philadelphia his new home after buying a small property there. He currently resides in Philly, according to reports. Bryan is a huge sports fan and constantly tweets about Philly sports teams, especially about the Eagles and the Phillies.

As far as the Giants-Eagles rivalry, it has been one-sided in recent times. During the 2022 season, the Giants were humiliated by the Eagles as the New York-based football team lost in all three meetings, including a 38-7 loss in the divisional round of the postseason. They will look to get even in the upcoming season by winning both their games against the Eagles in the regular season.

During the 2023 off-season, the NY Giants surprised a lot of fans by signing their QB Daniel Jones to a massive 4-year deal worth up to $160 million. Now they are hoping Jones can lead them to a Super Bowl victory.

The Giants chose to keep Jones at any cost over their star running back Saquon Barkley, who is still negotiating his second contract with the franchise. This means the New York-based franchise believes Jones has the potential to become a franchise QB in the league.

Daniel Jones was drafted by the G-Men in the first round of the 2019 NFL draft. Ever since he was drafted by them, the Giants’ front office has been receiving a lot of criticism for selecting him since many people believe he doesn’t have the potential to become a star QB in the NFL.

In his first four seasons, Jones hasn’t received a single Pro Bowl selection and has yet to register a 3500-plus passing yards season. But the Giants shockingly gave him a massive deal that made Jones one of the highest-paid NFL players of all time. This contract could turn out to be one of the worst deals in sports history, but the Giants believe they have made the right choice.
