“He’s TRASH”: Stephen A. Smith DESTROYS Zach Wilson following the Jets’ embarrassing loss to the Patriots

Stephen A. Smith did not hold back on his criticism of Zach Wilson over his terrible performance against the Patriots.
The New York Jets are having a rollercoaster season this year. The team started the season off on a high note by winning games back-to-back. However, as the season has progressed and as we find ourselves in Week 11, the Jets appear to have gone back to their original self of being terrible.
The Jets faced off against the New England Patriots on Sunday Night. They got outplayed 10-3 by the Pats, and what was more concerning was Zach Wilson’s performance. He ended the game with just 77 yards thrown. He completed just 9 of his 22 attempted passes. The Jets’ defense was stellar, but they could only do so much.
The offense failed to click last night and, as a result, New York ended up losing control over the game. In light of Wilson’s terrible performance, First Take analyst Stephen A. Smith had some harsh words for the young quarterback. The veteran analyst did not mince his words and told it like it was.
Zach Wilson’s job is at risk following his terrible performance:

Here’s what Stephen A. had to say: “Zach Wilson is trash, he is horrible. It’s just that simple. He’s a boy playing a man’s game. He mentally showed that yesterday. No accountability whatsoever. You’re playing professional football, your life, your wellbeing is on the line. These are grown men that you are playing with.”
He goes on to add, “These are men with families, mortgages, and all that stuff. You go there as a professional quarterback and y’all accumulate -21 passing yards in the second half. I could do that, -21? As a quarterback you can literally have the ball snapped to you and could go down and could have more yards than Zach Wilson and the offense.”
The Jets were terrible in the second half; they had 2 yards in total which is ridiculous. “A grand total of 2 yards in the second half. -21 yards. When they ask you a question, you sit up there and say No, you didn’t let the defense down? The only reason you answered that question is because you couldn’t look at your face and accept accountability. Men do that, boys run from accountability. Men accept accountability, boys run from them.”
Zach Wilson had a terrible game, but it was his attitude in the press conference that most took offense to. He was asked by a reporter if he felt he had let the Jets’ defense down by having a bad game. The quarterback did not hesitate and denied having let the defense down. The Jets will face off against the Chicago Bears this weekend.
