The New York Jets put up a hugely disappointing performance against the New England Patriots on Sunday as they went down 10-3 at the Gillette Stadium. According to news outlets, Jets quarterback Zach Wilson has lost the support and backing of his teammates.

The young quarterback is not at his best currently but isn’t capable of accepting fault, which has been taken in the wrong way by his peers. Zach Wilson has been behaving in a manner as if he’s ‘not the problem’ which has stirred up many.

Sources inside the Jets’ losing locker room told SNY that Zach Wilson was walking around after the game “like he isn’t the problem.” It rubbed more than a few the wrong way, frustrating several others,” tweeted NFL reporter Connor Hughes.

While the rest of the locker room seems to be gutted over the loss, Zach Wilson seems to be all too focused on avoiding blame. When asked after the game if he thinks the offense let the team down, he responded in a nonchalant way, ‘NO’. It would appear that Wilson is not ready to accept faults.

The frustration is becoming quite evident now with Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson letting out steam after the game. Wilson cut a disappointing figure and said that they were better than these standards but were not able to showcase it.

This s–t is sorry,” Wilson said. “We’re out here looking sorry — and we know that we’re not sorry. That’s why it really hurts. We know we’re better than that. That’s why it hurts.”

We wanted to win the game, and we felt like we had an opportunity to win the game on offense and time and time again we let it pass us up. It’s frustrating,” Wilson said. “Towards the end of the game, some of them things get magnified, ’cause like I said, we had missed on some opportunities early in the game and just kept doing it.”
