Even though the 2023 season didn’t go as the Cincinnati Bengals, there is no denying the fact that Joe Burrow is an elite quarterback. Not to mention, the highest-paid player in the history of the NFL after signing a five-year contract worth $275 million, ahead of the 2023 season.

Those who haven’t met Burrow have often wondered what’s like being around the star quarterback. So did sports commentator Kay Adams. That’s why when Zack Moss made an appearance on her show, ‘Up & Adams,’ Adams couldn’t wait to ask what’s it like being around the Bengals’ quarterback.

Adams asked:

I’ve never met him. I’m too scared to officially…probably would never meet him and talk to him. What is he like?
Kay Adams asked

The former Indianapolis Colts running back replied:

He has a presence about him that I think is very evident even if you never met him like you said. He has a presence about him, he has a swagger about him and you can tell he’s all about his business. So I’m looking forward to playing with him and getting on the field and kind of just picking his brands and seeing what’s he like.
Zack Moss replied

Moss further said he’s eager to join the offense led by the star quarterback so that he would get to know “what kind of player he is on the game day.” He said that he finds Burrow very cool because of his swagger.

Bengals sign Zack Moss to elevate the running game

Earlier this month, the Bengals acquired running back Moss in a two-year contract through the 2025 season. According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Moss reportedly signed a contract worth $8 million as an unrestricted free agent.

Moss replaced seven-year starter Joe Mixon, who posted his fourth 1,000-yard campaign last season. The Bengals traded him earlier in the offseason to the Houston Texans in exchange for a seventh-round draft pick.

After the Bengals finished the 2023 season with a 9-8 record, the utmost priority this offseason was to improve their running game. And though they parted ways with a star running back such as Mixon, they did get another at an affordable rate with the potential to be a core part of the team’s offense.
