Bad day in business for the Colorado Buffaloes as ‘Coach Prime’ Deion Sanders’ team lost by a margin of 48-46 at the hands of Stanford Cardinal. It was a high-scoring, intensified encounter where the Buffaloes had to suffer a defeat.
Deion Sanders was not happy with the team’s performance and he expressed his agony in the press conference. Coach Prime said that the players had to match him in terms of passion for football.
Well, the match raised figures at his control over the team as he was spotted on the camera arguing with his players. He had some different things in mind and he conveyed them to the players. However, the players did not give his thoughts a shot. Shedeur Sanders, his son and the quarterback, later admitted the fault that he did not listen to things properly that his father told in the locker room.
This is why Sanders looked a bit frustrated at the post-match presentation. He criticized his own players by questioning their love for the game. Addressing the press, the head coach asked, “What I just said in the locker room is they gotta make up in the minds, are they love this game or they like it? Because when you love something you give to unconditional. You give everything that you got.“
“Without a shot of a doubt, I am truly 100% in love with this game. And I just want people to match me. Match my passion, match my passion, match my love. Match my consistency, match my mannerisms. Every damn thing I give to this game,” Sanders said.

Are the Buffaloes making their journey difficult?
After a shambolic 1-11 last season, the Buffaloes appointed Deion Sanders as head coach for this season. Sanders brought all 53 new players and completely changed the team. His tactics started working as the Buffaloes won three consecutive games.
Later, they lost two and on the game week six, they won a nail-biter against Arizona. Coach Prime was frustrated about the football that the Buffaloes played.
The team has to win two more games to become eligible for the 2023 Bowls. However, it has made its journey a bit difficult after the loss against Stanford. Coach Prime wanted a victory to make things smooth. Nonetheless, the reality turned out to be different. Now the Buffaloes have to wait for two more games to fulfill their main goal of the season.
