NFL photographer suffers fractured spine at Los Angeles Rams Super Bowl victory parade

An NFL photographer has broken her spine while clicking pictures at the Los Angeles Rams victory parade in their Superbowl victory celebrations. The photographer, Kelly Smiley fell off from the stage wherein the celebrations were going on and has injured herself pretty badly.

In the wake of this accident, a Gofundme page has been raised to collect donations for her treatment at the hospital.

Kelly Smiley was trying to get pictures of Matthew Stafford along with his wife when the incident happened. Although Stafford’s wife, Kelly Stafford went to check if she was alright, Matthew Stafford showed no sympathy and walked away. This has got quite a fair bit of criticism on social media.

In response, the Los Angeles Rams have promised that they along with Matthew Stafford will be covering her medical bills. “As we told Kelly, we will be covering all her hospital bills and replacing her cameras,” said a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Rams. “We wish her a speedy recovery.“

Moreover, a GoFundMe page has been created by Tim Kothlow which has already raised $45,000 dollars.” Kelly took a heavy fall off the stage while covering the event, and it landed her in the hospital with a fractured spine,” said Kothlow.
