Nick Wright gives verdict on Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals lost to the Los Angeles Rams at the Super Bowl as the Bengals franchise’s hunt for their first Super Bowl seems to continue, they are now 0-3 in their three trips to the Super Bowl in franchise history.
However, this run to the Super Bowl by the Cincinnati Bengals will be remembered for many years, as this was a young team who no one thought that they would go so far, but they overcame all the odds and won the AFC after beating the Titans and the Chiefs at their home which is a remarkable achievement for this young team led by Joe Burrow.
FOX Sports Analyst, Nick Wright believes that the window for the Bengals to win the Super Bowl has been shut for some time, as he said, “They’re not going to be a perennial contender. This was their chance. I think they miss the playoffs next year.”

Nick Wright on First Things First talked about the chances of the Bengals coming back in the same way next season and said, “I do not think the Bengals are here to stay. This is a team that lost 8 games this year & 5 of their wins came on field goals at the gun.”
He added, “They have an owner in Mike Brown who is notorious for being the cheapest owner in all of the sports.”
He said, “So, What will it take for the Cincinnati Bengals to come back next season? The same it took this season, hoping to have all the quarterbacks in the division get injured, Lamar got injured, Baker Mayfield got injured and you had a dysfunctional Big Ben.”
The Cincinnati Bengals will want to come back and carry forward from where they left off this season and prove their doubters wrong again next season that this run was no fluke and they are a now team to be scared of in the AFC for many years with Burrow and Chase in the mix.
