“Not anymore,” Joe Burrow’s dad shares childhood snap of his son in Chiefs helmet
The Cincinnati Bengals stand on the verge of making history this year, with an impending Divisional playoff final against the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend. The Bengals have not made it into the Super Bowl clash ever since 1989 and Joe Burrow and co. have a great shot to set the record straight this year.
Ahead of the fixture against the Chiefs, Burrow’s father Jimmy Burrow posted an interesting snap of his son. The former defensive back in the Canadian Football League and NFL, and now a retired coach took the opportunity before the big clash to offer an insight into the life of Joe Burrow as a kid.
Joe Burrow used to support Kansas City Chiefs as a kid
Jimmy posted a cute picture of Joe when he was a child wearing a red Kansas City Chiefs helmet while finding solace in the arms of a woman, who is in all probability his mother. The picture was captioned, “Joe use to like those shiny red chiefs helmets. Not anymore. Geaux Bengals.”
After all this time, however, Joe Burrow has forgotten most of his Chiefs supporting roots and he would be determined to make his first entry into the Super Bowl this year with the Cincinnati Bengals. Burrow has had an excellent season for the Bengals this season and has a 10-6 record for them.
