Odell Beckham Jr has had a meteoric rise to the top of the file, ever since he joined the Los Angeles Rams. The 33-year old wide receiver proved his worth to the Rams propelling them to a Super Bowl title.

He was one of the most improved players for the World Champions during their playoff run and had started off the titular encounter against Cincinnati Bengals on a terrific note. He scored a touchdown very early on in the match but went down with a devastating injury on the 15th-minute mark.

Odell Beckham Jr looked for a pass, which was slightly behind him and it land badly. After the initial inspections, Beckham Jr was confirmed to have torn his ACL which will keep him out for quite some time now.

Looking back on the injury, the wide receiver termed it a “heartbreaker” in response to a video showing the injury and the reactions from both the Rams and Bengals on Twitter.

The video showed both sets of players looking to comfort Odell Beckham Jr, as he lay on the pitch visibly in a lot of pain.

Earlier, Beckham Jr had termed the injury as a part of god’s plan after his side emerged victorious from the Super Bowl LVI regardless of his injury.

Predictably, his time with the Los Angeles Rams might come to an end at the end of this season, as he heads to free agency and a number of franchises are on the lookout of securing his services for the season, especially due to the form he showed during the recently concluded playoff stages.
