“Carolina, Denver, Indianapolis or…”: Pat McAfee and Ian Rapoport list the teams that might be interested in Aaron Rodgers
Aaron Rodgers and Ian Rapoport
Aaron Rodgers is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in the world of the NFL. The Green Bay QB has been absolutely brilliant, season after season. This time as well, he churned out fantastic numbers which prove that he is indeed one of the best in the business.
However, Rodgers is renowned for his undying love to stay in the news. More often than not, Rodgers has made the headlines for all the wrong reasons. His Vaccine lie and expert analysis on Covid treatment have landed him in a world of trouble. Recently, there has been a lot of speculation about his future in the league.
“The Saints might swing big for a Quarterback”: Ian Rapoport
On The Pat McAfee Show, NFL Insider Ian and Pat had their say on Aaron Rodgers’ future. “What are the few places that would be interested in having Aaron Rodgers? Carolina, Denver, Indianapolis, would Tennessee be on the list, would Steelers be on the list, would Tampa be on the list?” Pat asked Ian.
To this, Ian Rapoport replied by saying, “The Steelers obviously needs a quarterback, but it would be very un-stealer-like if they trade a lot of their draft capital for a quarterback, not impossible, it just would be against everything they’ve done.” Ian went on to add that the Titians might be interested in him but roping Rodgers in would result in a big cap hit.
Ian also claimed that the Saints would be interested in a quarterback and they might swing big for it. He added that the Bucs might rope in Aaron Rodgers as “they have shown that they are a good destination for a veteran quarterback who might want to come in and win the Super Bowl.“
