“Not gonna see Matt Araiza ever again,” Pat McAfee gives a SCATHING verdict on Bills punter’s future in the NFL

The situation with Buffalo Bills punter Matt Araiza has set the NFL fanbase and the media on fire. Araiza was accused of gang-raping a 17-year-old minor while he was still in San Diego. The NFL community has condemned his actions and is speaking up against them. Pat McAfee, football analyst and former punter for the New Orleans Saints, has given his thoughts on this situation in his podcast “The Pat McAfee Show.

Pat says that the case is still in its developmental stage and nothing can be said for sure now, but things are not looking good for the young bills punter as this situation is coming on the heels of the Deshaun Watson controversy. McAfee went as far as to say that “We are probably not gonna see Matt Araiza ever again.”

McAfee emphasized that although it’s only a civil suit as of now, it might turn into a criminal suit, and in that case, it would put an end to Araiza’s career as a pro football player. He(McAfee) also said that Araiza was being “celebrated a lot” on the San Diego campus as the star player of their football team despite having heinous allegations being brought against him.

The overall tone of the episode was gloomy as the news will be impacting the bills franchise in a huge way. The Bills are title favourites for the 2022-23 season and a scandal like this could affect their team as well as their reputation. They, as a franchise will be answerable to their fan bases and the families of the victim and will have to apologise mightily.

As of now, nothing can be said for sure as the situation is still developing but if investigations prove that Matt Araiza is indeed guilty then that will be the end of his career in the NFL and a huge blow to the Bills franchise were in the process of marketing their young punter.
