“I feel I am the best”: Roger McCreary says he is absolutely set & ready for the next level

With the new season in sight, all the teams would be keeping an eye on the young talented footballers in order to strengthen their sides even further. With many teams who underperformed last season chopping and changing quite a few players, the draft picks are even more crucial for them.
One such young talent who might attract a big contract is cornerback Roger McCreary. Exactly 6 feet tall Roger features for the Auburn Tigers and made a name for himself by delivering impressive performances.

He attended Williamson High School in Mobile, Alabama. Roger was a 3-star prospect after passing high school and was the 87th ranked cornerback. Recently, Roger appeared on NFL Total Access and answered a few questions about what he expects from the draft.
Needless to say, he looked pretty confident. “The whole process, it’s just been great. Coming from the senior bowl, to combine, to Pro day, it’s been a long process but I enjoyed it all the way and now, I am just training, getting ready for the next level, that’s what I am focussing on,” he said when asked about what he thinks about the whole draft process.
He added that playing at the SEC level also helped him to hone his skills. “Everything about my SEC career was great, going after every kind of receiver no matter what. There were tall guys, there were bad guys. I feel like SEC helped me prepare for the next level,” he said.
“I feel like I am the best corner that is ready for this whole draft process. I am really confident about that,” he further claimed. Moreover, when about why he loves eating beans so much, Roger claimed that he is a huge fan of the beans his grandmother prepares for him.
In addition to this, he claimed that on days when he can’t get grandma’s special beans, he adds a lot of sugar to any average beans he can get his hands on to get game ready. It’ll be interesting to see which team finally ropes him in.
