Seattle Seahawks OPEN to offers for Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf after Chiefs and Packers express interest
Kansas City Chiefs lost their star wide receiver Tyreek Hill to Miami Dolphins in a blockbuster deal. Dolphins have offered Hill a mammoth contract of $120 million over the next four years. Hence with their main man gone, the Chiefs are looking for alternatives.
One of the players the Chiefs are keeping their eyes on is Seattle Seahawks wide receiver, Tyler Lockett. Additionally, they have set the radar on DK Metcalf as well.
Chiefs and Packers interested in WRs DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett
DK Metcalf is definitely an impressive player and one that will considerably improve the Kansas City Chiefs’ defence. In his rookie season, he recorded 58 receptions, 900 yards receiving, and seven touchdowns. In 2021 his numbers were again good with 75 receptions, 967 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns.
On the other hand, Tyler Lockett in the 2015 season had 33 returns for 852 yards and a touchdown return. These are two very impressive players who will be lucrative to the Chiefs as well as the Green Bay Packers.
Jack Settleman has reported about these new rumours. According to Settleman, the Seattle Seahawks are open to listening to offers but nothing is ‘imminent’ at the moment. Both the Chiefs and Packers are in desperate need of a star receiver. Settlement is the founder and CEO of Snapback Sports.
But it again puts into question whether Seattle Seahawks will be ready to lose two key players. They’ve already lost Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos last week and two more outgoing can misbalance the team.
