OBJ and Robert Woods
Robert Woods made a name for himself at the biggest stage. The talented wide receiver played college football at USC where he achieved great laurels. As a result, he was recognized as a consensus All-American. Robert was eventually drafted by the Bills in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
The reliable wide receiver, after spending a few years with the Bills went to the Los Angeles Rams back in 2017 where he established himself in quick time. However, in 2021, Robert tore his ACL during practice due to which his season ended prematurely.

Moreover, OBJ, who replaced him played a crucial role in guiding the Rams to several important wins and eventually ended up winning the Super Bowl. Post that, there were speculations about what lies ahead for Robert and now, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, the Tennessee Titans are all set to acquire him from the Rams.
However, NFL analyst Skip Bayless reckons that the Rams have committed a big mistake by giving away Robert to the Titans and added that Woods is actually better than OBJ. “The Rams just made a big mistake giving away Robert Woods, who’s better than Allen Robinson or Odell,” he Tweeted.
While one can argue that OBJ had a fantastic season and has become invaluable to the team, it is true that Woods is an extremely talented individual who can really have an impact on the team. It will be interesting to see how he performs for the Titans in the coming season.
