However, with the addition of Julio Jones to an already strong wide receiving core, experts have opined that Tampa Bay are the new Super Bowl favorites.

While discussing the impact of Julio Jones in Tampa Bay with co-host Shannon Sharpe on Undisputed, Skip said that the former Titans WR will be a huge contributor to leading the Bucs to the World Championship game. “On a scale of one to ten, Julio is going to have an 8 impact on Tom Brady and the Buccaneers,” Skip said.
Julio Jones is considered to be one of the best receivers of the 2010s. Despite having a mountain like structure at 6 ft 3 in and 220 lbs, Jones is known for his crazy speed, catching ability, strength, leaping ability, and body control. He is often compared to Calvin Johnson aka The Megatron. After setting a number of records at the Atlanta Falcons, the 33-year-old receiver was traded to the Titans. After playing one season in Tennessee, Jones went on to join Tampa Bay on July 27, 2022.
Earlier this year, Skip Bayless said that he heard from a reliable source that Tom Brady had reached out to Julio Jones and urged him to join Tampa Bay. “The point here is, Brady initiated,” Skip said. “Brady wants him because Brady loves him. Skip believes that Jones will give his best to contribute in the smallest of ways to help his team and Brady win a championship. The last time Jones appeared in the Super Bowl was against Tom Brady in the infamous 28-3 game.
