“Is he retiring?”: Speculations of Aaron Rodgers’ retirement on the rise after latest Instagram post
Aaron Rodgers
In recent times, Aaron Rodgers has become one of the most polarizing figures in the NFL. Some call him ignorant for giving expert analysis on subjects he has no knowledge about, while on the other hand, his admirers consider him a free-spirited man who is not afraid to take the road less traveled.
Right from bragging about owning a copy of Atlas Shrugged, to his vaccine lie, Rodgers has been trolled quite a lot in recent times. However, thankfully for his fans and Green Bay admirers, his performances were unaffected by the controversies and as a result, he was named the most valuable player for the second consecutive year.
While his on-field performances kept getting better, the controversies in his life also kept growing. After the vaccine fiasco, there were speculations that Rodgers is not happy with the Packers. There were rumors that he might boycott the playoffs as well but Aaron shot them down.
“Thanks for your incredible kindness”: Aaron Rodgers on Shailene Woodley
Nevertheless, it still isn’t clear if he wants to stay with the Packers, in fact, there is no surety if he even wants to play in the NFL anymore. Recently, Aaron took to Instagram to post a long thank-you note expressing gratitude towards all the important people in his life.
“Here’s some… MondayNightGratitude for some of the incredibly special people in my life, with some pictures from the last beautiful year. Shailene Woodley, thanks for letting me chase after you the first couple months after we met, and finally letting me catch up to you and be a part of your life. Thanks for always having my back, for the incredible kindness you show me and everyone you meet, and for showing me what unconditional love looks like, I love you and am grateful for you,” he wrote.
“To the men I got to share the QB room with everyday, Matt, Nathaniel, Luke, Jordan Love and kurt benkert , you guys made every day so much fun and I’m so thankful for the daily laughs and stress relief you brought me every week of the year. I love you guys,” he added. Rodgers went on to thank a plethora of other people as well.
While it is possible that he was just expressing gratitude towards everyone who has aided him in his journey thus far, fans have started speculating that Rodgers might be thinking about retiring from the sport.
