Ben Roethlisberger shares emotional message in remembrance of Dwayne Haskins
Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has penned down an emotional letter in memory of Dwayne Haskins. Ben Roethlisberger played with Haskins for a very brief time in 2021 when Haskins was picked up as a third choice quarterback by the Steelers. Ben Roethlisberger has posted a teary eyed message to Dwayne Haskins on Twitter.
Ben Roethlisberger hailed Dwayne Haskins for the positive attitude that he always carried and says will miss his laughter. In the end he jokingly says that he wishes he could throw the ball as well as him! He also offered support to Haskins’ wife Kalabrya.
“He came to work everyday with a smile on his face and energy and love in his heart,” Roethlisberger writes. “I really enjoyed his passion and love for the game and wanting to learn and be the best. His smile and zeal for life will be missed!“Wish we had more time together on this earth, but I will cherish the time and the laughs we had! I’ll say it again just like I told you to your face, I still wish I could throw the ball like you!! Love ya pal.”
