The Los Angeles Rams led by Matthew Stafford were crowned as the Super Bowl Champions after they defeated the Cincinnati Bengals in a very exciting contest that went to the wire with all outcomes possible until the final play.
The Rams started off the game in a dominant manner with OBJ, Cooper Kupp, and Matthew Stafford making big plays to ensure that the Rams were in driving seat for the match, but OBJ got injured and the momentum shifted towards Bengals and they had a lead in the 4th quarter before Stafford combined with Cooper Kupp for a big game-winning drive which sealed the victory for the Rams.
Famous ESPN Analyst Stephen A Smith was very impressed with the performance of the Rams quarterback who led his team to the Super Bowl triumph and said, “Matthew Stafford is a future Hall of Famer.”
“This performance has solidified that Matthew Stafford…”- Stephen A Smith
Stephen A Smith on First Take praised the performance of Stafford which led the Rams to win the Super Bowl and said, “This performance has solidified that Matthew Stafford is a future Hall of Famer.”
He added, “Stafford already had a multitude of game-winning drives in his resume before he even arrived at the Rams had a record of 74-90 as the quarterback for the Detroit Lions, so think about that without his game-winning drives, it would have been way worse.”
Stephen A said, “If OBJ wouldn’t have got hurt, this would have never been close and we would not have the opportunity to see the late-game heroics of Stafford.”, He said, “All I ever wanted to see was Matthew Stafford giving the Rams a lead and letting Joe Burrow have the ball on the final drive of the game against Aaron Donald.“
After the Rams offense had given them the lead with less than 1:20 left on the clock in the 4th quarter, the Rams defense led by Aaron Donald was able to stop Joe Burrow and the Bengals which crowned them as the Super Bowl Champions and cemented the legacy of many players on the Rams squad who were hungry to add a Super Bowl on their resume.
