Donna Kelce, the proud mother of Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce was present to cheer for both her sons on Sunday. She traveled 1,200 miles from Tampa Bay all the way to Kansas City to watch her sons dominate in the Super Wild Card weekend.

Donna Kelce’s adventure involved two time zones, two airports, a rickshaw, Uber, and a request from the NFL for a police escort to ensure she made it to Arrowhead Stadium in time to watch at least part of the game.

NFL constantly updated everyone on Kelce’s progress. At first, they shared a picture of Donna Kelce in the Philadelphia Eagles jersey sporting the biggest smile on her face supporting her elder son, Jason Kelce, center for the Eagles. However, the Eagles were crushed by Tom Brady and the Buccaneers.

Next up the account showed a picture of part of the rickshaw which Kelce had to take from Raymond James Stadium to connect with her Uber so she could make it to the airport in time for her flight. After arriving at the airport, Donna tweeted that her flight was delayed. Then came a picture showing her on a commercial flight following a uniform change into Chiefs colors.

Donna Kelce’s afternoon didn’t turn out as he would have hoped but she ended the day with her younger son, Travis Kelce’s win. She surprised Travis by asking him the opening question in the postgame interview. “And that’s what makes sports so great because you could be depressed in the morning and elated in the evening,” said Donna Kelce.

“I knew she was gonna try and make both of them. But you know just seeing her as happy she is right now. It makes everything awesome man. It makes playing this game and having big dreams all worth it man. Because we went out there and had a whole lot of fun today and what better way to do it in front of family man,” Travis Kelce said.

Travis Kelce said to his mom, “Glad I could put a smile on your face. Love you”. Moms are always the best and this was rightly so shown by Donna Kelce whose love for he sons made it possible for her to watch them play as they made their mark in the sport.
