NFL superstar Maxx Crosby has hilarious ‘BEEF’ with LeBron James
Las Vegas Raiders superstar Maxx Crosby recounted his days as a fan of the Miami Heat and how he got into a 'beef' with LeBron James.

LeBron James and Maxx Crosby
Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has attracted much recognition and accolades throughout his career. This is due to his consistent performances on the court and huge brand off the court. However, basketball fans aren’t the only ones who follow his game. NFL star Maxx Crosby happens to watch him play as well and lately revealed his ‘beef’ with the NBA star.
In a recent episode of The OGs Show, the Las Vegas Raiders player talked about his favorite NBA star. It turns out the beef between Crosby and James started after the four-time NBA champion joined the Miami Heat to form ‘The Big Three.’ Interestingly, the entire NBA fanbase hated James for teaming up. However, that was not Crosby’s basis for beef.
I was a die-hard D-Wade fan, and once LeBron went to Miami, that's when my beef started with LeBron. Cuz I couldn't root for D-Wade the same cuz they would call me a f*****g bandwagon. So, I'm like f***, I didn't know what to do... D-Wade was like my savior. Then LeBron f***** that all up so.Maxx Crosby via The OGs Show
According to Maxx Crosby, he grew up in Michigan and watched the Detroit Pistons from an early age. However, when the team became so bad in the league, he switched his allegiance to the Miami Heat. It was during that time that he became a staunch fan of Dwyane Wade, who was the star man at the Heat till LeBron James joined in 2010.
Nonetheless, when the 20-time All-Star joined the team, everything changed for him as a fan. Crosby revealed how he was put in an uncomfortable position over who to support at the time. The way he sees it, James really spoiled things, likely because of his top performances in games. That made it difficult for the NFL star to root for Wade and James together. Eventually, he ended up ‘beefing’ the Lakers star.
After Olympics success, LeBron James gets morale boost ahead of new season
With the 2024 Olympics done and dusted, LeBron James is preparing for the upcoming 2024-25 NBA season. It will be his 22nd year in pro basketball and the league. His team did not make any big moves during the off-season. Nevertheless, the gold medalist has received good news to lift his spirits.
Los Angeles Lakers player Christian Wood, who suffered an injury last season, has recently announced his return to the team. Wood injured his knee and had undergone an arthroscopic procedure on the left knee. His absence was noticeably felt, as the Lakers had a dismal league season to forget. Check out what Wood said via Instagram stories below:
Wood is contracted to the Lakers until the 2025-26 season after signing a two-year deal last year. The 28-year-old posted 6.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.0 assists on average with the Lakers before his injury setback. Though his numbers are not much, he is a force to contend with alongside ‘King James’ and Anthony Davis.
