“We’re prepared for it,” Tampa Bay Buccaneers have identified this veteran QB to replace Tom Brady in 2022

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were dealt a heavy blow when their star quarterback, Tom Brady decided to call it a day from the game a few weeks back. The 44-year-old Brady’s decision to retire from the game had greater implications for the Buccs, who were handicapped in the very crucial quarterback position and a solution to the problem was needed soon.

However, according to reports from inside the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ camp, the coaching staff and management have identified Blaine Gabbert as the potential player, to take over the No.1 quarterback position at the franchise for the upcoming season. Blaine Gabbert was a 2011 NFL draft pick, but the 32-year old is yet to make a name for himself despite being in the game for over a decade now.

In a 2021 interview, Arians called Blaine, “one of the most underrated quarterbacks in the NFL.” Blaine Gabbert also received the vote of confidence from his coach during another instance, when rumours were rife that Brady might announce his retirement at the end of the previous season.

“I’d be comfortable if it is. I like what we have,” Arians told the media referring to the options that he would have if Brady announced his retirement from the game.
