Kenny Pickett found himself among the centre of attraction during the NFL Scouting combine event for his unusually small hands. The University of Pittsburgh quarterback had the smallest hands among his peers and it measured at 81/2-inches.
Playing as a quarterback, the players are expected to have bigger hands with them having to carry out the responsibility of making their team get on the front foot. Therefore, Kenny Pickett has a disadvantage in that front, but seems to be making steady progress in that area.

After the NFL Combine, he has seen his arms increase by almost an 1/8th of an inch which took his final measurement to 8⅝ inches when he made an appearance at the Pitt’s pro day on Monday. Despite the increment, he would still have the smallest arms in the NFL, after he gets picked up by a franchise in the 2022 NFL draft.
Kenny Pickett had a hilarious reaction after finding out that his arms had increased by the smallest of margins and credited the stretching exercises. The main reason for doing those exercises was to increase his arm width, and so far it’s paying off perfectly for the 23-year old rookie.
“The stretches work,” Pickett said with a laugh according to leading news outlet ESPN. “It’s the reason why I’ve been doing them. If it helped getting an eighth of an inch, I’ll take it.”
Kenny Pickett pulled off some stunning throws, as the NFL franchises watched on during the pro day event. It will be interesting to see which franchise eventually lands the highly talented quarterback this year.
