“This is total bulls**t”: NFL fans furious after Referee knocks Dak Prescott, ending Cowboys’ SuperBowl dream

Dak Prescott
The Dallas Cowboys just might have had the worst playoff game ever. Everybody had hope that Dak Prescott might lead the Cowboys to victory given the season Jimmy Garoppolo had. But the San Francisco 49ers crushed the hopes of the Cowboys and Prescott by defeating them.
Dak Prescott’s performance has been mercurial this season. However, Skip Bayless was confident that his quarterback will come clutch in the game that matter the most. Sadly, this did not happen. However, Prescott is not the only one responsible for Dallas’ defeat. The refs also had a hand in making sure that the Cowboys could not salvage the game at the last moment.
“It was doable”: Skip Bayless said that Dak Prescott could’ve managed to score a TD if not for the Umpire

San Francisco 49ers were dominant throughout the game which guaranteed a 23-17 win against the Cowboys. However, Dak Prescott managed to back a comeback in the fourth quarter. San Francisco punted after a false start in the last moments of the fourth quarter, giving Dallas one more chance but without enough time left on the clock.
The Cowboys started at their 20 with 32 seconds to go. Cedrick Wilson pitched to CeeDee Lamb on a hook-and-ladder play for 20 yards, and Dalton Schultz gained 9 yards before getting out of bounds with 14 seconds remaining. Prescott then took off on a designed run and slid at the end of a 17-yard run, with eight seconds to go.
Just as the Cowboys were getting ready to snap the ball, Umpire Ramon George bumped Prescott trying to set the spot. This bump cost the Cowboys the final second which could’ve helped them to make a play. Apparently, the Cowboys could not spike the ball to stop the clock because they didn’t quickly give an official the chance to touch the ball.
Skip Bayless vented out his anger at the official on Twitter saying, “WHAT??????? THE UMPIRE KNOCKED DAK OVER. DAK WAS READY. THE UMPIRE WAS LATE!!! HE DID NOT DO HIS JOB QUICKLY ENOUGH. COWBOYS SHOULD’VE HAD ONE SHOT AT THE END ZONE FROM THE 20. DOABLE!!! JUST ABSURD.”
Analysts and fans alike have criticized the umpire’s action. Now, the Cowboys won’t know if they could have won the game defeating the 49ers advancing in the playoffs or not.
