NFL confirms their investigation over Dan Snyder case
Tiffani Johnston has made the allegations against Dan Snyder in a Congressional hearing saying that Dan Snyder tried to touch her on the thigh during a dinner party and then later on tried to force her in a limousine.
The NFL has issued an official statement regarding the Dan Snyder sexual misconduct case. Brian McCarthy, an NFL spokesperson had said that the league will review the allegations made by Tiffani Johnston.
“Last week, the League stated that we will review and consider Ms. Johnston’s allegations as we would any others regarding workplace conduct at the Washington Commanders.
The League, not the team, will conduct an independent investigation and will be retaining an investigator to determine the facts shortly.”
“I do not see any way that a team can do its own investigation of itself,” said NFL commisione Roger Goodell during a press conference on the Washington Commanders conducting their own investigation.
“That’s something that we would do with an outside expert who would be able to come to a conclusion of what the facts were and what really, truly happened so we can make the right decision from there.“
