“He couldn’t be happier” Fans make massive speculation about what brought an end to Bruce Arians’ career

Bruce Arians and Tom Brady

The shock retirement of Bruce Arians has a bit of a fishy feeling around it. Despite Tom Brady coming back, Arians has still elected to retire and will instead take a front-office role with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a Senior Football consultant. This prompted many questions about whether or not Brady forced Arians out.

Most of this speculation has come from the supposed tension between Tom Brady and Bruce Arians. It went so far as to suggest that Brady retired from the sport as a way to try and leave the Buccaneers and play elsewhere like the 49ers or the Dolphins. The primary reason for him wanting to leave was said to be that his relationship with Arians was souring.

In fairness, Bruce Arians himself stated that those reports were “bullsh*t” and denied any claims that he and Brady had an impaired relationship. One thing that does seem odd is that Brady knew about Arians retiring when he came back to the Buccaneers.

So, while he wrote “Thank you, BA for all that you have done for me and our team. You are an incredible man and coach, and it was a privilege to play for you. You are a true NFL legend and pioneer for all the work you have done to make the league more diverse and inclusive.” It may seem a little disingenuous if he wanted him gone.

The rumors about the tension between Brady and Arians, Brady supposedly retiring to get away from Tampa and then supposedly coming back because Arians would be gone has all led to this. Now, Tom Brady is present to watch his former head coach and new head coach address the media.

It could be worth noting that Tom Brady certainly does seem rather pleased in the video, whether that is simply circumstantial or because he’s happy that Arians isn’t his coach is complete speculation as of now and likely won’t ever be revealed. But, he certainly doesn’t look like someone upset that he just lost his Super Bowl-winning head coach.
