Tom Brady is regarded as one of the finest quarterbacks to ever play the game. He isn’t just a great QB but a fantastic leader as well. His presence motivates the other players in the side to do well and at times, even forces the retired players to come back and rule the game.

When he retired, the Bucs were just a tad nervous as some other star players were also leaving the franchise. Ali Marpet retired and then Alex Cappa also signed with the Cincinnati Bengals. However, much to the delight of the Bucs fans, Brady recently stated that he is set to return to the franchise.

As soon as he arrived, another one of his pals with whom he won the championship with the Patriots is set to join the Bucs for the coming season. Shaq Mason is reuniting with Tom Brady. As reported by Mike Garafolo, the New England Patriots agreed to trade Mason to the Bucs.

This move is set to create $7 million in cap space for the team from New England. Mason actually had two more years left on the $45 million deal he signed with the Patriots for five years.

First roped in by the Patriots back in the 2015 draft, he has been a major part of the franchise over the years. In fact, Mason has won two Super Bowl titles alongside Brady. His inclusion will definitely help the Bucs and they would now feel a bit more confident about their chances for the coming season.
