“Obviously The Greatest Tight End Ever”: Tom Brady showers praise on Rob Gronkowski
Robert James Gronkowski, popularly known as “Gronk”, is one of the greatest tight ends in the history of the game. Currently featuring for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Gronkowski has played as many as nine seasons for the New England Patriots.
A four-time Super Bowl champion, a five-time Pro Bowl selection, a four-time First-Team All-Pro selection, and a place in the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team, are a few of his achievements. Robert has a very special bond with superstar quarterback Tom Brady.
“It’s been amazing to watch him perform”: Tom Brady on Robert Gronkowski
The Brady-Gronkowski connection has resulted in 90 touchdowns and four Super Bowls. In a recent interaction, Tom had a few things to say about Gronk. Talking about his return to the sport after retirement, Brady claimed, “I don’t remember exactly how things played out with that. I’m just happy he decided he wanted to come out of retirement.”
Brady claimed that it absolutely incredible that he is getting to play with him. “When I chose the Buccaneers, I wasn’t sure if he was going to come out of retirement or if he wanted to play, but it’s been amazing to watch him perform,” the QB further stated.
Calling him the greatest tight end ever, Brady added, “he’s obviously the greatest tight end ever to play the game, and he’s still doing it. Again, I think his ability to block in the run game, run routes in the pass game, going against smaller players, and then he’s very clutch. He comes up big in the biggest moments.”
Talking about his co-ordination with Gronk, Tom said, “we’ve played together. I know basically every situation that’s come up. I know how he would deal with it. So much about football is anticipating what the problems will be as opposed to trying to figure out how to solve the problem after the play.”
It is indeed a privilege for the fans to watch them battle it out together on the field. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in dire need of a few wins to make their way into the play-offs. They will take on the Bills in their next encounter.
