“He’ll be punching the air now”: Twitter sympathizes with fan who bought Tom Brady’s final TD ball for $518,000 just before the QB decided to come out of retirement

Tom Brady
Tom Brady is one of the biggest superstars in the world of the NFL. Even in his mid-40s, Tom was nothing short of sensational, and under him, the Bucs were doing pretty well. However, the NFL fans were left shellshocked when Brady announced his retirement from the game after the 2021 season came to an end.
He had stated that he is calling it quits because he wanted to spend more time with his family. However, Tom again surprised everyone by recently announcing that he is set to return for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as he wants to take care of some ‘unfinished business.’
Tom Brady returns to the NFL just months after announcing retirement

Many experts had opined and even Tom had hinted towards coming out of retirement. However, not many thought that he will return to the field in a matter of months. While Brady’s comeback has delighted fans across the world, one fan, in particular, would not be very pleased with Brady’s decision.
Before Tom announced that he’ll take the field yet again for the Bucs, the ball from the last career touchdown pass Brady threw was sold for a whopping $518,000. During the final quarter of the divisional playoff game against the Super Bowl champions LA Rams, Brady had thrown a 55-yard pass to wide receiver Mike Evans.
As nobody had an idea that it was Brady’s final TD pass in the NFL, Evans threw the ball into the stands. A lucky fan was able to catch the ball. As reported by ESPN, around 23 people placed bids to get the ball and in the end, it was sold for $518,000. Unfortunately for the fan who bought the ball, it won’t remain Brady’s final TD pass ball in all probability as the star QB has decided to come out of retirement.
