The Miami Dolphins are looking to shake off their poor outings in the NFL over the past couple of years. The Dolphins have roped in a new head coach in the form of Mike McDaniel to take over from Brian Flores and have also made one of the coups of the offseason in roping in Chiefs wide receiver, Tyreek Hill.
These two new acquisitions have made them a serious contender for the AFC title, and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa shares the same sentiments as most around the circuit. The Dolphins quarterback will have a much improved offense to work with in the upcoming 2022 NFL season and he’s also aware of the expectations that come with it.

Tua Tagovailoa said, “I guess the only word that can describe that is exciting,” on ‘The Fish Tank’ podcast, via the Miami Herald. “It’s exciting times for all of us. Aside from guys we have acquired, it’s going to take work from all of us … We’ve got to do the most important thing as to why we’re here, which is just win games.”
Apart from signing a new head coach and Tyreek Hill, the Dolphins have also signed running back Chase Edmonds, WR Cedrick Wilson, guard Connor Williams, RB Raheem Mostert and WR Trent Sherfield.
Tua Tagovailoa also reserved high praises for his new rookie head coach, Mike McDaniel. The 24-year old quarterback said that the new head coach has done an excellent job of bringing everyone together in the franchise.
He said, “Coach McDaniel has done a great job, not just with his staff but everyone. The new players, the guys we’ve kept. Everyone in this building is optimistic. Everyone has a high amount of character within the building. It says a lot about coach McDaniel, a lot about Chris Grier — the communication between coach and Chris.”
