Jaquan Monte Brisker is an extremely talented footballer safety who featured for the Penn State Nittany Lions during his college football days and impressed one and all with his consistent performances.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Jaquan was also a pretty good basketball player. However, with time, he decided to focus completely on football and one has to agree that it was the right call.

It would be fair to say that Jaquan has been through a lot of ups and downs in his young career. He was actually recruited by a lot of top football programs early on but then he got to know that he can’t play NCAA Division I football due to low SAT scores.
However, the young gun didn’t lose heart and went on to deliver impressive performances. As expected, fans were eager to see which team ropes him in at the 2022 NFL draft. As it turns out, Chicago Bears were able to get him in.
However, what ended up making the headlines was what Bears’ National scout Chris Prescott said about Jaquan. “He’s a – what would we call it? – Ph.D? Poor, hungry and desperate. Football is his life. This is this kid’s life. There’s a lot to like about that when you see a guy who’s so passionate about football,” he had claimed as reported by ESPN’s Courtney Cronin.
As expected, Courtney has received a lot of backlash for his comments. It will be interesting to see if he comes up with a clarification about what he stated.
