“Trevon Diggs tied to the Buffalo Bills for six more years”: Adam Schefter
The Allen-Diggs combination has worked exceedingly well for the team and it was evident that the Bills would like to retain the duo at any cost. As a result, they have agreed to offer Allen a gigantic amount locking him for four more years with them.
“Bills reached agreement with WR Stefon Diggs on a 4-year, $104 million extension that includes $70 million guaranteed, sources tell ESPN. Deal ties Diggs to Buffalo for six more years, at $124.1M, with the intent from both sides to have him retire in Buffalo,” NFL Insider Adam Schefter wrote on Twitter.
As soon as it was confirmed that Diggs will stay with the Bills for the coming years, innumerable reactions poured in on Twitter. Many claimed that although Allen is fantastic, he won’t be the same if Diggs is not there which is why the Bills have gone to great lengths to keep the duo together, while some also pointed out that locking Trevon in for 6 years might not be a very intelligent thing to do.
Even Josh Allen reacted to Adam Schefter’s tweet regarding the mega-deal with Diggs. Allen wrote “Yes” in the comment section.
