“CRY LOUDER”: Twitter reacts as Miami Dolphins defeat Patriots for first time since 2000

The Miami Dolphins pulled off a bunny out of a hat in their epic victory over the New England Patriots in the final encounter of the regular season of the NFL. The 33-24 victory was the Dolphins’ first one over the Patriots since 2000 and it couldn’t have come at a better time for the hosts at the Hard Rock Stadium.

Although the Dolphins failed to grab themselves a playoff berth this season, the victory meant that they have ended a second consecutive season with a win on the final match of the regular season. The New England Patriots were shut out completely in the first quarter as the Dolphins gained a 14-0 lead to set the tone for the entire match.

However, they ended the match battered and bruised not only on the scoresheet but also in terms of personnel as Isaiah Wynn and Christian Barmore added to the long list of injuries for Bill Belichick’s side.

Jaylen Waddle set the record for the most receptions in a rookie year, with his 100th pass during the encounter. He became the second Miami player with 100 receptions in a season. Jarvis Landry had 112 receptions in 2017 and 110 in 2015 for Miami.

Twitter Reacted wildly as the Miami Dolphins secured the victory to cap off what has been a relatively underwhelming season for them on the whole. Let’s check out a few fan reactions-
