Urban Meyer, the current head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL) has been in the limelight for all the wrong reasons lately. Meyer, who previously used to ply his trade as the head coach of the Bowling Green Falcons, Utah Utes, Florida Gators, and the Ohio State Buckeyes is having a disappointing 2021 season for the Jaguars.

However, along with the below-par performances of his side, Urban has been in the news for a scandalous video that went viral a little while ago. In the video, a man who appears to be like Meyers was seen getting danced on at a bar with an unknown woman.

Reacting to the video, Meyer took responsibility for his actions and apologized to his family and his franchise. “I just apologized to the team and staff for being a distraction,” Meyer said. “Just stupid, and so I explained everything that happened and owned it. Just stupid. Should not have myself in that kind of position,” Meyer added.

Meyer, who did not fly back to Jacksonville with the team last Thursday night went to Columbus to visit with his grandchildren. He claimed that along with his family, he went to have dinner at his restaurant, the Urban Meyer’s Pint House.

He added that people then started asking for photos and requested him to dance with them. “There was a big group next to our restaurant and they wanted me to come over and take pictures, and I did,” Meyer said. “They were trying to pull me out on the dance floor, screwing around, and I should have left,” he went on to add.
