“Don’t think I’ve ever played for more”: Von Miller dedicates Super Bowl win to Demaryius Thomas & Trevor Moawad
Von Miller
The LA Rams had a dream outing at the Super Bowl. Right from the start, the competition was intense as both teams were eyeing the coveted trophy. The Rams were obviously the favorites to win the contest but the Bengals had constantly defied expectations in the tournament.
OBJ started things off really well for his franchise. In fact, the Rams were looking in complete control till halftime but then the Bengals proved why they are such a dangerous side. They scored 10 points in the third half but the Rams made a raging comeback in the final moments to clinch the title.
“I was playing for D.T”: Von Miller
The 32-year-old Rams linebacker Von Miller, as expected, was thoroughly delighted after the win. Miller, who had two sacks in the game, tied the record for most sacks in career Super Bowl appearances. After the game, Von dedicated the title win to Demaryius Thomas and Trevor Moawad.
“I don’t think I’ve ever played for more in my career, man,” Miller said after the game. “I was playing for D.T.; he passed away suddenly in December. I was playing for my son; he was born in August. Playing for Trevor Moawad; he passed away after the very first game of the season. Playing for all of my teammates here,” he stated.
This is a huge win for Von. He has done exceedingly well and he deserves all the praise in the world. Moreover, a lot of credit has to go to the Rams for getting their combinations right. They made a few transfers, they showed faith in experienced campaigners and as a result, they have won the coveted trophy.
