Oh Cowboys, what have you done. In the wild card round clash against the 49ers, Dak Prescott and Co fell short by 6 points. Right from the word go, the Cowboys looked underconfident and the 49ers immediately took advantage of it.
In the first quarter itself, the Cowboys were pushed against the wall. With a lead of 10 points, before the second quarter even started, the 49ers were charging in while the Cowboys fans were just hoping for things to get better. By halftime, the Cowboys were lagging behind but weren’t completely out of the contest.
49ers leave Cowboys fans in tears
However, again in the third quarter, the Cowboys were unable to score a single point and before going into the final quarter, the 49ers had a lead of 16 points. Although the Cowboys tried as much as they could in the final few minutes, it was all too little too late by then.
Cowboys fans left the stadium dejected and shocked after the loss. Moreover, there was a fan who lost hope even before the game ended. While there were 4 minutes still left in the game, a Cowboys fangirl was seen weeping uncontrollably in the stands.
It felt like she already saw what was coming and hence, couldn’t control her tears. The Cowboys were just not up to the mark. The star players in the side needed to step up to the task, however, they didn’t.
