With just a couple of minutes to go in the fourth and final quarter of the match, Jonathan Taylor received the ball, and found a clear route to score the touchdown, taking it all upon himself to go on a majestic run with the defenders from the Patriots’ side, all at bay and failed to match up with the pace of the running back.
Jonathan Taylor finished with 170 yards on the ground, which included that clinching score. He averaged 5.9 yards per carrying off 29 attempts, to cap off an exhilarating display for the youngster.
The 22-year old youngster was visibly pleased with his and the team’s performance after the match. In the post-game interview, Jonathan Taylor said, “I think it just says that we’re a team that’s gonna come in, wherever we’re at home or away, we’re going to play 60 minutes, four quarters of hard-nosed football. And we’re not going to let up, we’re going to continue pressing until the clock strikes zero.”
