The morale of the Philadelphia Eagles is sky-high after witnessing Pro Bowl running back Saquon Barkley’s amazing stunts during the Jaguars win. Barkley and the contingent will travel to Arlington and face their bitter NFC East rivals, the Dallas Cowboys, on Sunday, November 10.

Mike McCarthy’s Cowboys will look to get back to winning ways after losing three straight games to the Lions, 49ers, and Falcons. And they have to do so without their $60 million a year quarterback, Dak Prescott, who has a hamstring tear. The Cowboys put Prescott on the injured reserve.

[There’s] no way he [Dak Prescott] can be back in the four-week timeframe, so we’ll put him over there.

Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones said recently

According to reports, Cooper Rush will make his season debut as Prescott’s replacement. Trey Lance is also in the mix to be the starter, but for now, the word is McCarthy will go with Rush.

Unlike the Cowboys, the Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts will play after head coach Nick Sirianni accidentally blurted out that the Pro Bowler will miss the game due to injury. However, the Associated Press later reported that Sirianni corrected himself and Hurts is available to play the Cowboys on Sunday.

Besides Hurts, the Eagles will also field AJ Brown. The star wide receiver’s status was in doubt after he went off injured in the first half during the Jaguars game last week. Brown was a full participant in the training this week, and the Eagles took him off the doubtful list.

The Dallas Cowboys lead the tie 71-55 (all-time record) against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Why can the Dallas Cowboys win?

The Cowboys desperately need a win to stop their slump and push for a wild card spot. Cooper Rush hasn’t started a game for a while but boasts a 5-1 record when given the opportunity.

We are just trying to beat Philly. That’s kind of our approach this week. [I] got to take them one at a time. It’s a cliché, but it works. And so that’s kind of the goal, and you’re just taking it practice by practice, game by game, and we’ll see what happens.

Cooper Rush said (H/T: ESPN)

Fortunately for Rush, he will have WR 1 CeeDee Lamb playing with him. Lamb injured his shoulder last week and was doubtful but he was removed from the list.

My shoulder is much better than it was on Sunday; I’ll tell you that. I’ve taken a big step throughout the week in these last two to three days, if you will. I’m good.

CeeDee Lamb said

The All-Pro receiver has 53 catches for 660 yards and four touchdowns this season.

Why can the Philadelphia Eagles win?

The Eagles don’t have a good record against the Cowboys in Dallas—lost on their last three visits to Arlington. However, the Cowboys haven’t won a single game at home this year, so it’s a great opportunity for Sirianni’s men to secure their seventh win of the campaign.

Jalen Hurts has had an above-average season through the air with 150 completions for passing 1774 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions. On the ground, Hurts managed 86 carries for 322 yards and 8 rushing touchdowns.

Saquon Barkley has been in spectacular form in his first year with the Eagles. Barkley is currently fourth in the league for carrying with 157 rushes for 925 rushing yards, which is second in the league, and 6 rushing touchdowns. If Hurts and Barkley fire on all cylinders, then the league’s 26th-best defense will have no answer whatsoever.
