The NFL’s Week 10 matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Denver Broncos will be an interesting game to watch. While the former continues to be undefeated through nine weeks of football, the latter is coming off a rough loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
The Denver Broncos have fared better than last season so far with a record of 5-4. The team’s primary concern is inconsistencies at the quarterback position with rookie Bo Nix, who is finding his footing in the league. Fortunately for Denver, their defense has stepped up big to help them hold the fort and limit their opponents scoring.
It will be a challenge for the Broncos to go up against the reigning Super Bowl champions, but again, they are an unpredictable bunch.
While the Chiefs have beaten some of the best teams in the NFL so far, they have not significantly outscored their opponents throughout the season and have won by a narrow margin in most games. So even though it may seem like the Broncos stand no chance, never say never.

Why can the Chiefs win?
Kansas City continues to steamroll the best teams in the NFL and the Broncos have struggled offensively all-year long. Despite Patrick Mahomes’ struggles this season, the quarterback broke his streak of throwing an interception in almost every game last week and he might be considering beginning a new streak of not throwing a pick for the rest of the season.
Mahomes is 12-1 against the Broncos in his career and the Chiefs’ offense ranks 10th in the NFL averaging 352.5 yards per game. The star of the show, however, remains their defense that is ranked 5th in the league, allowing just 293.5 yards per game and shutting out opposition’s run games.
Why can the Broncos win?
Denver will need to say a prayer and hope that the consistent version of Bo Nix shows up to play on Sunday. Last week, the team started off its game with a bang after Courtland Sutton threw a great touchdown pass to Bo Nix but after that, the game went downhill for the team.
The Broncos will need to keep the momentum high throughout the game and in their favor. The offense will have a hard time navigating past Kansas City’s defense, but their defense will not have an easy night either as they will hope to keep Patrick Mahomes under check.
