The Cincinnati Bengals have been one of the most energetic teams, producing some of the best games this season. They had a brilliant outing against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 10 with quarterback Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase leading an explosive offense.

Despite the same, the Bengals failed to win, no thanks to a botched referee call and a failed attempt to convert two points. This has been the story of the Cincinnati side who are bolstered by the new explosive power unseen in the last year. The Bengals are third in their group behind a much more powerful Pittsburgh Steelers and Ravens.

Meanwhile, the Chargers are on a roll, winning three straight games to improve to a solid 6-3 record under their new head coach, Jim Harbaugh. Their impressive plus-68 point differential ranks third in the AFC, trailing only the Buffalo Bills (plus-97) and the Pittsburgh Steelers (plus-69). After starting 2-2, the Chargers have revived their hopes of making their first playoffs since 2022.

Why can the Los Angeles Chargers win?

The Los Angeles Chargers have a great chance to win on Sunday Night. Justin Herbert has been amazing this season, especially now that he’s fully healthy and getting comfortable with a new game plan.

Herbert is renowned for his strong arm and quick plays, which often bamboozles any defense. The Cincinnati Bengals have one of the weakest defenses in the league so far, adding to the incentive. Gus Edwards is a solid player for Herbert to build chemistry in the game pretty quickly, carving opportunities to score big and early in Inglewood.

The Chargers also have a solid defense led by their coach, Jesse Minter. Chargers are ranked in the top ten of both passing and rushing defense, allowing 12 touchdowns by the opponent. In addition, the Chargers have the home advantage and the fact that the Bengals are traveling long distances could work in the home host boys’ favor.

Why can the Cincinnati Bengals win?

Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase are simply too explosive to overlook. Chase is coming off a monster performance with 11 catches for an incredible 264 yards and three touchdowns, while Burrow added four total touchdown passes last week.

Chase is also leading the NFL this season with 66 receptions, 981 receiving yards, and 10 receiving touchdowns. Although the Bengals failed to register a win, they are one of the teams to watch out in the league currently.

As long as Joe Burrow stays healthy—which has been a concern for the former No. 1 overall pick—the Bengals will remain a dangerous team. They currently rank sixth in the NFL in scoring, averaging 27 points per game.

The Chargers defense, which has been solid lately, might struggle to maintain its form as rookies are tasked with covering elite talents like Chase and Tee Higgins, who combined for over 2,400 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns last season.
